Caroline County Historical Society organized a five-stop Sweet Caroline Historic Homes tour on Saturday, May 17, 2025. It was the first tour of its kind in the county in over 29 years.

The five homes included Memory Lane in Williston, Marble Head in Ridgely, Potter Hall in Williston, Knotts Walsh in Denton, and Castle Hall in Goldsborough. A historic Black schoolhouse and Eastern Shore cabin could also be seen by tour-goers at two of the sites.

The tour sold out in the week prior to the event, with over 300 tickets sold. Attendees spent the day driving to the different sites and exploring them at their own pace. Floral arrangements made by the Caroline County Garden Club and quilt displays from the Fiber Arts Center of the Eastern Shore added to the natural beauty of the historic homes. Some of that beauty is captured here in photos from the day by Mickey Pullen.
