On a chilly, rainy May 11, riders from the Police Unity Tour Ride-In came through Caroline County. Mickey Pullen was there to capture the riders as they made their way through toward Annapolis.
According to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund website, "Between 1,200 and 1,300 riders (were) expected to ride into the Memorial to remember and honor the fallen."
The ride started in New Jersey, traveled to Wilmington, Del., then on to Annapolis, which is how the riders came to travel in the county.
The last leg of the trip will happen on October 13 when the riders travel 60 miles to the Memorial in Washington, DC.
