DENTON - There was lots of green clovers adorning racers in the 18th Annual St. Paddy's Day race/walk, hosted by Caroline County Recreation and Parks.
The weather seemed perfect for the morning activity, as photographed by Mickey Pullen, although the lack of rain did mean a lack of rainbows that could perhaps lead to a pot o' gold.
There were 174 registrations of participants who ranged in age from 1 years old to 83.
The lil littles participated in a special Lil' Leprechaun Dash, for which they were awarded with chocolate bar or foil coins. The other participants received equally interesting awards. According to Danny Mitchell, Program Services Manager, all of the medals and leprechaun cauldrons were created in-house at Recreation and Parks utlizing a 3-D printer.
