A partnership between Denton Elementary School, Caroline County Retired School Personnel, and the Town of Denton resulted in another registered Little Free Library (LFL) in Denton.
The LFL is in the Mayor Carol Stockley Fourth Street Park, and on Dec. 18, representatives from Caroline County Retired School Personnel watched as excited children brought books to fill the red structure. Elizabeth Pickett, Carol Seward, Donna Carson, and Amanda Dean stood by as the children from the Denton Child Development Center brought a book and took a book.
The LFL is a global program with 200,000 LFL in 128 countries. Many LFL dot Caroline County, including Caroline County Retired School Personnel sponsored ones in Greensboro and Marydel.
