"This piece is part of a series exploring the quiet complexity of everyday life through observational drawing. Working directly from life, I aimed to capture not just the form of the subject, but its atmosphere—its weight, stillness, and presence. By emphasizing dramatic shadows and playing with varied line weights, I sought to create tension between precision and looseness, control and organic decay.
