Janet Elaine Cohee

Janet Elaine Cohee, 76, of Bridgeville, Delaware, passed away on July 22, 2026, at Peninsula Regional Hospital in Salisbury, Maryland.
Born on December 29, 1949, in Milford, Delaware, Elaine was the daughter of William Minner and Thelma Simpson Minner. She graduated from North Caroline High School in 1968.
Elaine spent many years in Manassas, Virginia and Luray, Virginia before retiring permanently back on the eastern shore. She enjoyed antiques, collecting and crafting. But by far her biggest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Bouziden.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Pamela Davis (Eric Hignutt) and Loren Cohee (Dawn); her five grandchildren, Stephen Barr (LeeAnn), Trey Davis, Allie Bilbrough (Luke), Haley Davis, and Hunter Davis; and her three great-grandchildren, Sloan Bilbrough, Stella Barr, and Shepherd Bilbrough. She is also survived by her siblings, Jimmy Minner, Peggy Butler, and Dale Minner (Candy) and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 1:00pm with a service to follow at 2:00pm.
