Scott Messick won the April 28 election for a seat on the Preston Town Commission.
He will be inaugurated at the next regular commission meeting, which is scheduled for May 5 at 7 PM.
Messick received 25 votes, with a total of 36 people voting out of 570 registered voters.
This is his first time serving on the Preston Town Commission and he will serve for a term of 5 years.
