Randy J. Hubbard of Greenwood, DE, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026, at then Lofland Park Center in Seaford, DE. He was 73 years old.
Born in Easton, MD, Randy was the son of the late Dawson George Hubbard and Alice Lyden Robinson Hubbard. He was a 1971 graduate of North Caroline High School.
Randy had been an independent truck driver for many years before driving for several companies such as Glacier, Perdue, and Mountaire Farms. He retired in 2021. He enjoyed camping and just tinkering about. But, most of all, he was a wonderful grandfather who fiercely loved his family.
Randy is survived by his wife, Brenda J. Hubbard of Greenwood; a son, Mark Allen Hubbard (Carol) of Reliance, MD; a daughter, Melissa Lynn Eigenbrode (Greg) of Denton, MD; a sister, Amy Thetford (Mike) of Horntown, VA; and five grandchildren: Anna Rohme (Jake), Pamela Hubbard, Maggie Hubbard. Hadley Eigenbrode, and Kane Eigenbrode. He was preceded in death by an adopted son, Marty Hubbard III; and six brothers and sisters: Myrna Dill, Bonnie Dill, Dawson “Buddy” Hubbard, Carolyn Gainey, Gail Meredith, and Marty Hubbard, Sr.; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, October 23rd, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 South Second Street in Denton where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The interment will be in the Concord Cemetery on Dion Road, Federalsburg.
