Randall "Randy" Gordon Brummell was born on June 14, 1968, to the late Joyce Loretta and Royal G. Brummell Sr. He peacefully transitioned from this life on Friday, July 31, 2026.

Randy spent his early years in Federalsburg, Maryland, before moving to Seaford, Delaware, where he graduated from Seaford High School. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Although he made his home in Delaware, Randy remained deeply connected to his family in Preston, Maryland, often returning to visit and check on his grandmother and uncles.

In October 2008, Randy met the love of his life, Samantha Briggs. Together they built a life filled with love and devotion. Randy proudly helped raise Samantha's three sons, Traviar, Amri, and Andrez.

As Randy often said, he was a "dedicated" truck driver. He spent more than 30 years behind the wheel, including 12 years with Cowan Trucking and 12 years with J.B. Hunt, where he proudly drove over one million accident-free miles in seven and a half years.

Randy loved working with his hands. Whether he was doing yard work, repairing vehicles, or building something from scratch, he took pride in figuring things out for himself. He rarely believed in calling a professional because he was confident he could get the job done on his own.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents, James William Russell, Mildred Olivia Butler, and James and Catherine Brummell Sr.; his aunts, Frances Russell West, Nora Butler, Jean Brummell, Sissy Holmes, and Evangeline Brummell; and his uncles, Kenneth Butler, James “Jimmy” Butler, Albert Holmes, and James Edward Brummell Jr.

Randy leaves to cherish his memory his brothers, Royal "Glen" Glenwood Brummell Jr. and Rodney "Black" Garrison Brummell, both of Seaford, Delaware, and Diwan "Bo" Paskins of Waldorf, Maryland; his sister, Angela Garvin-German (Christina) of Magnolia, Delaware; his aunts, Diann Beulah of Willingboro, New Jersey and Jeanette Brummell of Cambridge, Maryland; his uncles, Martin Butler and Freddie T. Brummell Sr. of Preston, Maryland; his nieces, Brooklyn, Rod'Ney, and Patience; his nephews, Kaine, Tyler, and Samaj; and many cousins, faithful friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Randy's hardworking spirit, dedication to family, and willingness to lend a helping hand will be remembered and cherished by all whose lives he touched.
