Some dogs come to us once. Bella has had to come back more than that.
Not because of anything she’s done wrong, just life. Things changing, situations not working out, homes that weren’t quite the right fit for her.
She was first surrendered when her owner could no longer afford her care.
From there, she found a home… then lost it when housing fell through. She tried again, only to be returned once more when it became clear that her energy didn’t fit apartment life.
That’s a lot of starting over for a 3-year-old dog.
And still… she shows up happy.
Bella is one of those dogs who greets you like you’re her favorite person in the world. Full-body wiggles, ears back, just genuinely excited to see you every single time. She’s playful, loves to run, and if you give her a yard, she will absolutely use every inch of it.
She’s also got that sweet, affectionate side, happy to lean into you, soak up attention, and yes, she will absolutely try to convince you she’s a lap dog.
She’s smart, treat-motivated, and already knows “paw” and if she’s feeling extra proud, you might even get both paws at once.
What we’ve learned is that Bella just needs the right kind of home. She’s not an apartment dog, she needs space, regular exercise, and someone who understands that her energy isn’t a flaw, it’s just part of who she is. When she has the right outlets, she’s an incredibly fun, engaging, and loving dog.
There’s nothing wrong with her.
She just hasn’t found her right match yet.
And honestly, she deserves to stop starting over.
She’s ready for something steady. Something that lasts.
