Mary Louise Angelo, 72, of Greensboro, passed away peacefully at her home on June 29, 2026.
Born February 12, 1954, in Delaware, Marylou was the daughter of the late James Francis Angelo and Stella Smith Angelo. She attended Alexis I Dupont High School.
Marylou’s true passion was horses, she had a deep connection in training horses and worked at many racetracks and eventually she began working alongside her father at their horse farm, Pine Knoll Stables in Hockessin Delaware.
Marylou found joy in life’s simple pleasures, she loved gardening, reading and especially cherished the Christmas season.
A quiet private person, she was known for her gentle nature and generous spirit, always willing to help anyone in need.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her beloved family members.
She is survived by her six siblings, including two brothers and four sisters, and 6 nephews and 8 nieces, who will forever remember her kindness.
A celebration of life will be held at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home on August 11, 2026, at 11 AM.
