Mary Elizabeth Seiler, 81, of Greensboro, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 7, 1944, in Harriman, Tennessee. Mary was the daughter of the late Reese Clarence Johnson and Edith Irene "Morgan" Johnson.
On August 18, 1962, Mary married the love of her life, Albert E. Seiler, beginning a marriage that spanned more than six decades. She dedicated many years to caring for others, working at Easton Hospital as a nurse and orderly before transitioning into home healthcare, where she continued serving patients in their homes. Following her retirement, Mary went into business cleaning houses.
Mary was a faithful member of the Denton Church of the Nazarene. She found joy in reading, painting, camping, and attending bluegrass festivals with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Phyllis Kellum; two grandsons, Matthew Albert Seiler and Andrew Westermann; and three sisters and six brothers
Mary is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Albert E. Seiler; her daughters, Angie Westermann (Mike) and Kelly Buckle (John); and sister, Carolyn Elaine Hutson and brother Michael Lewis Johnson also her cherished grandchildren, Angel Bishop (Jason), Johnny Buckle (Aly), Kaitlynn Pettit (Seth), Elizabeth Kach (Jeff), and Caleb Kellum. She also leaves behind ten treasured great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. at Denton Church of the Nazarene. A funeral service will begin at 11 am, followed by interment at Greensboro Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to Denton Church of the Nazarene, c/o Missions.
