LuAnn Mitchell Kish, 70 of Ridgely MD passed away suddenly at home on March 16, 2026. She will be desperately missed by all those that she left behind. She was one of a kind and fiercely independent.
She was born on January 7, 1956, to the late Peggy Pollard Mitchell and James Mitchell Sr.
Her family was her sole focus. She worried over and took great care of them.
Her undeniably loving spirit will live on and be remembered by her children Kelly (Potsy) Kemp and Ryan Kish. Her adored grandchildren Jason (Danielle) Toth, Luke (Dasha) Kemp, Carly Kemp and Reed Kish. Her precious great grandchildren Emerson and Camryn Toth and soon to be born Lana Kemp. Also, her brother Gary Michell and sister-in-law Debora Schuyler Mitchell. She is proceeded in death by her brother James "Jimmy' Mitchell. She leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She shared love, laughter and tears with her Aunt Connie Flamer and best friend Angie Winchester.
LuAnn shared her amazing heart with her extended family: Tyrone "Satch" Byris and his children Tinky, Katyra, Karrie and Kyla. And received a bonus set of grandchildren in Sammy, Zy and Isaac whom she loved dearly.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 10 to 11AM with a service to follow at 11AM.
