Lori Ann Gorsuch Frisbie passed away at her home in Lincoln, DE on Friday, October 16, 2026, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was 59 years old.
Born in Chestertown, MD on August 31, 1967, Ms. Frisbie was the daughter of Robert Allan Gorsuch and Beverly Ann Price Gorsuch of Trappe, MD. She and her family moved to Denton, MD in 1980.
Lori was a 1985 graduate of North Caroline High School near Ridgely, MD. After high school, she graduated from Salisbury University in 1989 and later received her Master’s Degree in 1995 from University of MD Eastern Shore. After college, she returned to Caroline County where she worked as a School Counselor for thirty years before retiring in 2019. Lori had many close friends from far and wide who loved her for her caring and giving nature. A strong advocate for animal welfare, she worked closely with Doggone Happy Animal Rescue in Harrington, DE.
In addition to her parents, Lori is survived by her daughter, Kristine M. Frisbie of Bridgeville, DE; her brother, William A. Gorsuch (Christina) of Hurlock, MD; three nephews: Zachary Gorsuch, Aiden Gorsuch, and Christian Gorsuch; and her special friend, Dean Moore, and his family of Lincoln, DE; her aunt and uncle, Betty and Buzz Harris, her aunt Bev Gorsuch, many cousins, and Kristine’s dad, John Frisbie.
A memorial Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on Sunday, November 1st, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. 12 S. Second Street in Denton where friends may visit from 12 until 1 before the service. The interment is private.
