Karen Brandenburg, 62, of Greensboro, MD passed away on May 13, 2025, surrounded by family and friends.
Karen was born on April 4, 1963, the daughter of Harper and Helen Lane. Karen was a lifelong resident of Caroline County. On June 19, 1993, she married the love of her life, Fred Brandenburg in Ridgely, MD.
Karen’s life was filled with joy. An avid reader, concert goer, and animal lover, however her favorite activity was to spend time with those she loved. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Fred; daughters Samantha Gallion and Rachel Brandenburg; grandchildren, Christian and Rylie Gallion; brother, Tommy Lane; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday June 7, from 12-1PM with a celebration of life to begin at 1PM, at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 West Sunset Ave. Greensboro, MD, for friends and family to come and remember a beautiful life.
