Ina Elizabeth Tripp, of Dover, Delaware, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, with her son by her side. She was born on December 18, 1929, to the late Mr. Porter and Mary Cannon Melvin.
Ina was a graduate of Greensboro High School and worked for many years as a line worker at Playtex. She was married to the late Edward W. Tripp, Sr., with whom she shared a loving life and family.
She is survived by her devoted son, William Tripp, and her cherished grandchildren: Eddie Tripp III, Heidi Pearson, Heather Lappley, and Angel Tripp, as well as several great-grandchildren who brought her great joy.
Ina was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Tripp, Sr.; her son, Edward Tripp, Jr.; and her daughter, Sharon Tripp Jester.
Ina will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 28, 2025, at Mount Olive Cemetery in Sandtown, Delaware.
