Harvey Samuel Hill Jr., 72, of Hillsboro, Maryland, passed away on March 11, 2026, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Easton.

Born on June 16, 1953, in Easton, Maryland, Harvey was the son of the late Harvey Samuel Hill Sr. and Henrietta Magness Hill. He spent his life in the Denton area and was well known throughout the community.

Harvey enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He loved fishing, playing horseshoes, and spending time playing cards, especially his favorite game, 500 Rummy. He also enjoyed scratch-off tickets, listening to oldies and classic country music, hauling junk and scrap metal, and cheering on the Baltimore Orioles.

In addition to his parents, Harvey was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Hill, and two sisters, Loretta Galloway and Roxanne Hill.

He is survived by his daughter, Elisa Gullion (Zachary) of Hurlock, Maryland; his sister, Joanne Thomas of Annapolis, Maryland; and many beloved nieces and nephews including Tina McCowan (Billy) of Annapolis, Maryland, Christine Tracy (Vince Boggus) of Hillsboro, Maryland, Tanya Thomas of Henderson, Harvard Tracy (Tiffany Gardner) of Greensboro, Anna Bell (Kevin) of Chestertown, Douglas Tracy of Hillsboro, and Raymond Pearson of Hillsboro. He also leaves behind a loving legacy of six grandnieces and three grandnephews.
