About Habitat Choptank

Since 1992, Habitat for Humanity Choptank has helped make homeownership possible for more than 134 families and has completed critical health and safety repairs in partnership with more than 300 qualifying homeowners.

Through affordable mortgage financing and homebuyer education, income-qualified families have the opportunity to purchase newly constructed or rehabilitated homes and build long-term strength, stability and self-reliance through homeownership. Habitat homeowners also contribute sweat equity—working alongside volunteers, staff and community partners to help build or improve their homes and invest in the future of their families and neighborhoods.

Habitat Choptank works in partnership with God and people throughout our communities to build, rehabilitate and repair homes, improve quality of life and restore hope. Together, we are addressing the impact of poverty, revitalizing neighborhoods and creating a stronger future through the simple but powerful foundation of a safe, affordable place to call home.

[Cambridge, MD] (November 2026). Habitat Choptank’s signature fundraiser, Hard Hats & High Heels, will take place on Friday, November 6^th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at 447 Venue in Cambridge. Join us for cocktails, food by The Catering Company, silent and live auctions, and music from local band, The Animal House Band!

Tickets for Hard Hats & High Heels are $125 each and include two beverage tickets. Tables for 8 guests are $1,200 and include a wristband for each guest for beverages during the entire event, a table close to the stage and a pre-event reception. Guests can also participate in Habitat Choptank’s Golden Ticket Raffle for a chance to choose from four exciting destinations: Costa Rica, Tuscany, Nashville Opry, or Kentucky Bourbon! Tickets are $100 each, with only 100 tickets available for purchase. The winning ticket will be drawn during Hard Hats & High Heels at 7:30 p.m. on November 6^th.
