Florence Virginia Darby Bolyard, 79, of Marydel, Maryland, passed away peacefully at Bayhealth Hospital in Dover, Delaware, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 31, 1947, in Baltimore, Maryland, Florence was the daughter of the late John Emanuel and Anna Marie Ranzino. She is survived by her sons Sam Darby Jr, Jeff Darby (Lisa) and Bryan Darby. Her beloved grandchildren Sam Darby III, Mason Darby, Riley Darby, Delaney Darby, Brody Darby, Megan Darby, Brent Darby, Bailey Halterman, Conner Baughn, Colton Baughn and her great granddaughters Leighton and Karsyn Halterman.
Florence dedicated 30 years of service to Bank of America before beginning a second career with Queen Anne's County Public Schools, where she worked until retirement.
In her free time, Florence loved visiting her house in Ocean City, Maryland, where she enjoyed relaxing at the beach. Above all, she cherished her family and treasured every opportunity to spend time with loved ones. She also enjoyed socializing with family and friends, creating lasting memories through her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
