DENTON -- In remembrance of September 11th, several residents and staff members from Denton Nursing and Rehab came together to show their appreciation for the men and women who serve and protect our community. Residents created heartfelt thank-you cards for the Denton Police Department and delivered them on Friday along with donuts as a small gesture of their gratitude. These simple acts of kindness carried a meaningful message: we remember, we honor, and we are grateful. September 11th is a day that reminds us of the courage and sacrifice of first responders and the many individuals who answered the call to help others. The residents wanted to make sure that those who continue to serve our community know that their dedication does not go unnoticed.
