Congratulations to the varsity Colonel Richardson Colonels Softball team for their 18-1 opening day win over Snow Hill High School! Senior Montana Davis and junior Hannah Kefauver led the team with three hits each. Freshman Sophia Zepp-Poon had a triple, driving in three runs. Freshman Chloe Simmons earned the win on the mound, allowing zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out five, and walking none. Kefauver came in for relief.
