Charles Edward Copper Jr., affectionately known as Charlie Brown, peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord on June 3, 2025, at the age of 56, surrounded by his family.
Born to the late Mary E. Copper and Charles Copper Sr., Charlie was raised in Easton, Maryland, where he received his education through Talbot County Public Schools.
From a young age, he was a devoted member of Union Baptist Church, where he sang with the Little Voices of Reverly. Known for his radiant smile, joyful spirit, and endless love, spending time with loved ones brought him joy. He lived life with passion and purpose. Enjoying his family cruises to the Caribbean Islands. And as we all know he was a die-hard Washington Commanders fan.
Charlie entered the workforce early, taking a position at Kraft Foods in Federalsburg, Maryland. He brought love, laughter, and kindness, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Above all, Charlie was a devoted and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Copper; one daughter, Tiffany Cephas; two sons, Charles Copper (Arshelle) and Jaheim Copper; seven grandchildren, Breisha, Zavion, Manai, Diamond, Caydence, Cyanni, Charles IV; and one great-granddaughter, Tianni. He is also survived by two sisters, Tracy Copper and Sherry Copper; in-laws Rosie and Cleon Dunnock; two brothers-in-law, Cleon (Kiesha) Delmar, MD, and Timothy Smith (Charmaine) of Federalsburg, MD; three uncles, Charles Dean, Charles Jenkins, and Joseph Jenkins; two aunts, Bertha Potter and Mildred Potter; along with two aunts-in-law, Angie Cephas and Carrie Jones, and two uncles-in-law, Willard Cephas and George Cephas (Helen). He shared a very special bond with his nephew, Jermaine (Bunky) Murray, cousin Daryl Cephus, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including family friends, Tarrell Hammond and Ania Hubbard.
He now joins in eternal rest his beloved parents, Charles and Mary Copper, and two sisters, Charlene Murray and Treneice Handy.
Charles's love, strength, and laughter will forever resonate in the lives of all who knew him. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in every shared story, family gathering, and act of kindness carried on in his name.
