Mickey Pullen, local photographer and Caroline Review photographer, announced on his social media that six of his aerial photographs were included in “Maryland By Air,” a video and book published by Maryland Public Television. According to the MPT website, “Experience the wonders of the Free State from its picturesque western hills to its bustling metropolitan areas to its thundering shoreline and pastoral farmlands. This breathtaking new program…shot entirely from the air, includes an inspiring musical score and is narrated by legendary Marylander Cal Ripken Jr.”
Pullen’s drone photography highlights towns in celebration and under a wintery snow blanket, and rivers as in natural calm and in exhilarating recreation. He explains, “this project has been two years in the making and displays the stories and splendor of Maryland from a bird’s eye view. The video is majestic in its story telling and the coffee table book has over 250 glorious photos taken by over 100 photographers from around the state.”
