RIDGELY - Businesses and non-profits in operation for 10 to 100 years were recognized during the Caroline County Chamber of Commerce 's Milestone Mixer on Dec. 2.

List of honorees:

Avery Hall Insurance, 100 years

Pierson Comfort Group, 75 years

Preston Automotive, 50 years

Choptank Community Health Services, 45 years

Compass Hospice, 40 years

Caroline Foundation, Inc., 10 years

Following the business milestone recognitions, the Chamber of Commerce held a cake auction, the proceeds of which are used to fund the organizatoin's scholarship fund. The auction brought in $3,000, enough to fund three scholarships.
