Alice “Faye” Foy, 76, passed away peacefully on, Tuesday, December 24, 2025, in Henderson, MD surrounded by her loving family. Born April 13, 1949, in Chestertown, Md the daughter of Betty Anne Smith (94) of Henderson, MD and the late Carlton Kemp. Faye was proceed in death by her beloved husband of 17 years, Samuel Jospeh Foy Sr. Faye grew up at Chino Farms in Chestertown, Md and later the family moved to Rose Hill Farms in Earleville, MD.
Faye was a dedicated employee of the Caroline Nursing Home, where her compassion and caring for others reflected who she was at core. Caring for others was not just her profession but it was in her nature. She retired in 2018 after 16 years of service. In her free time, Faye enjoyed dancing, reading Stephen King novels, puzzles, crossword searches and spending time with her family.
Faye is survived by her two children- Melissa Bounds (the late Ed Bounds ), and Samuel Foy (Amanda): her three grandchildren- Ryan Bounds, Brynley Foy, and Everly Foy; her three sisters- Carlotta Maldonado (Jorge), Nora Lane (the late Freddy Lane) and Patricia Johnson(James); and her mother - Betty Anne Smith.
Services will be held privately at grave side for immediate family at a later date. A celebration of Faye’s life will be held in April, 2026 open to all friends and family.
